Ladies and Gentlemen of the 8th District and the City of Charleston,

I am excited to announce my candidacy for the District 8 Charleston City Council seat. Simply stated, it is time for a new voice on City Council. As we address issues of livability, safety, and economic growth it is essential that we have representatives on City Council who bring real world experience and energy to the debate.

The next decade will present many challenges and economic uncertainties. We must work together to protect and enhance our resources, while developing an economic plan that allows us to do so without mortgaging our future. I pledge to do just that.
